New Zealand Customers
We offer FREE delivery for all orders over $75. As you add items to your shopping cart you will be advised of how much more you need to spend to qualify for free delivery. Our standard delivery charge is $4.99 per order to anywhere in New Zealand. This charge is waived as soon as your order exceeds $75.
All Small, Medium & Large sized parcels are delivered by Courierpost. XL parcels are delivered by Fastway couriers and exceptionally big items (i.e. Playhouses, swing sets, trampolines) are delivered by Mainfreight. These orders may take 1-2 days longer to arrive than the Courierpost delivery times outlined below which apply to most of our orders.
Our target delivery times are:
Books, DVDs & Games/Software
- North Island: Overnight
- Rural North Island: 1-2 days
- South Island: Overnight
- Rural South Island: 1-2 days
Toys, Board Games & Sports/Outdoor Equipment
- North Island: Overnight
- Rural North Island: 1-2 days
- outh Island: 2 days
- Rural South Island 3-4 days
Note:
- If your order contains a combination of small and medium/large items (e.g. Books & Toys) then delivery times for larger items apply.
- Items that are shown with an 'In Stock' tick are dispatched immediately. Items with 'With Supplier: Ships 3-5 days' are ordered from our suppliers, immediately on receipt of your order. If your order contains a combination of 'In Stock' items and items 'With Supplier: Ships 3-5 days' your order will be held until it can be sent in its entirety.
- For XL items or at peak times (December 10th-21st) please allow 1-2 extra days in addition to the above targets.
Overseas Customers
Items are sent by standard International Air postage. Additional freight charges will apply in most situations. Please live chat or email us for a freight quote.
We will confirm your additional charges and provide instructions on how to complete your order.
Our target delivery times are:
- Australia (Zone A): 3 to 6 days
- South Pacific (Zone B): 6 to 10 days
- East Asia and Northern America (Zone C): 6 to 10 days
- UK and Europe (Zone D): 6 to 10 days
- Rest of world (Zone E): 6 to 10 days
Note:
- All DVDs are PAL Region 4 unless stated otherwise. XBox and Playstation games are PAL format unless stated otherwise. Please ensure that your DVD player and/or console can play Region 4 PAL DVDs since we cannot accept returns due to region problems. Players in the USA can typically only play Region 1 DVDs and players in the UK can typically only play region 2 DVDs. If you have a multi-zone or region-free player you should be able to play DVDs from all zones.
- Airmail service is generally very good, however it is not unusual for international mail to be delayed. As you can imagine thousands of items go through the mail system daily and can be subject to delay, as well as possible hold ups in customs. Unfortunately these delays are beyond our control. We must allow at least 4 weeks before we can order an investigation by NZ Post for any late delivery. If it does not arrive after 4 weeks email missing@gumboot.co.nz (please do NOT email before 6 weeks).
IMPORTANT: Please also note that we do not ship any electronic goods overseas (e.g. projectors, games consoles, DVD players, etc).
