Description

An Angel At My Table is based on the Autobiographical writings of the obsessively private Janet Frame, New Zealand's greatest living novelist. The Film tells the story of Frame's life from childhood to her mid thirties and focuses on her family, her development as a writer and the 8 year period she spent in a psychiatric hospital after being wrongly diagnosed as a schizophrenic.
